The idea of BLUE WAVE DAYS is that some time will be set aside in a specific day in the calendar year of junior high and high schools for BLUE WAVE to educate, raise awareness and change the way that everyone perceives mental health issues. Keen interest is also being shown to BLUE WAVE by universities for their young people to receive the annual BLUE WAVE DAYS' presentation. This day will be dedicated to - all of those who are suffering right now, and also remembering, all of those who have died from mental health illnesses.
Your participation and support of BLUE WAVE DAYS will positively change our world and the perception of society toward the many who suffer with various illnesses such as depression, anxieties, panic attacks, and even suicidal thoughts - to name but a few.
The BLUE WAVE DAYS program is actively being presented to various interested schools.
It is further envisaged that the students and volunteers of each individual school community will solicit local businesses for financial support to fund the costs of promotional materials such as hats, shirts, bags, pens, etc, and also to fund advertising media costs. Any and all surplus monies collected would be accrued to fund the raising up of BLUE WAVE CHAPTERS in regions across Canada, thus bringing the BLUE WAVE DAYS' programs to the respective local schools and colleges.
